What is the EEP?
The Energy Equity Program’s mission is to provide free peer-to-peer energy consultations for Eugene residents, focusing on low-income households. By training and assisting students and community members to give the home energy checkups, the EEP is making tangible steps towards reducing energy consumption and bills, as well as associated carbon emissions.
Project objectives include:
1) Increase the utilization of local, state, and federal low-income energy efficiency incentives.
2) Train students and community members as EEP Energy Consultants; give EEP Home Energy Checkups
