Generation Waking Up Northwest Leadership Training

June 23rd – 26th, 2013 | Whidbey Island, WA

Our generation is coming of age at one of the most pivotal moments in human history. We are waking up to the challenges we face and the critical role we play in the creation of a thriving, just, and sustainable world.

The Northwest is home to an incredible diversity of young and creative changemakers, artists, and community-builders. This training will gather together a cross-section of these young innovators to:

  • Develop skills and capacities for creating personal, interpersonal, and systemic change

  • Recharge and renew, find healing in a diverse community, deepen into your purpose, and be inspired into action

  • Synergize with other participants across multiple issues in order to build ongoing relationships and collaborations toward a more connected Northwest

  • Learn to facilitate The WakeUp Experience: a 3 hour dynamic, interactive, multimedia experience that explores the challenges and opportunities we face, and that motivates young people to play their unique role for the creation of a thriving, just, and sustainable world
